Hello!
I finally got to go to Japan for 9 days from 22 to 31 May. This trip had many 'first' for me- Not only was it my first time to Japan, it was also my first time travelling without family members, with many people I didn't know before. We planned the trip from scratch.I went to Kyoto and Tokyo. Of course, Kyoto won hands down as I had never been a city kid even born in a city I was. Too much concrete and noise.
I went to places like Kobe and Arashiyama in Kyoto. I underestimated my hardiness - as a result, I had cracked lips and heels for the whole of my journey, especially after climbing the mountain at the Inari Shrine. I thought 18 deg C was nothing to worry about... but I was glad I got a cardigan around! Of this the Shrine was something I looked forward to, as I love foxes.
I stayed in Shibuya the last few days, and I feel this song described my perception. www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm23718… The crowd was... to me, hell. A lot of shopping was done, but frankly, not really what I really liked to do. And....
I TRIED THE ROLLER COASTER AT FUJI-Q! THE WHOLE TIME I WAS SCREAMING!
and ended up with a bruised neck (which I had no idea how I got it) and arm...
This trip has made me fallen even more in love with Japan. I love the food and most importantly... the scenery! I came back feeling refreshed and my heart cleared of all troubles.

Yakushima and Kumamoto
I wanted to go to Yakushima for some time and I finally picked up the courage to go there this month. It was wild, it was difficult. I knew then that no matter how much I love nature, I am still a city kid.
Kumamoto was wide, peaceful, but we know that's not the case right?
I seem to have lost the motivation to draw :(

I purposely created one dA account so i can comment. haha. Travelling with friends is fun. For Japan, i was thinking if i could travel alone. Travelling alone seems exciting and fun.
